A Benefit to End Hunger, Feast for Famine 
Wednesday, May 24, 5:30 to 8  PM, The Egg, Empire State Plaza

Hunger Action Network’s 16th annual  Feast for Famine benefit to end hunger 
will be held on Wednesday, May 24th, from  5:30PM to 8:30PM at the Egg in the 
Empire State Plaza, Albany.
 

Hunger Action Network of New York State, founded in 1982, represents  the 
state’s three thousand emergency food programs and works to end hunger and  its 
root causes, including poverty, in New York State. 

Feast for Famine is a food and beverage tasting to raise support on behalf  
of the 40,000 individuals who use food pantries locally each month. 
Participants  are able to enjoy food prepared by some of the Capital Region’s best chefs, 
 accompanied by teas, microbrews, coffee and a silent auction.

Some of the participating restaurants, coffeehouses and microbreweries  
include Absolute Coffee and Refreshments, Barcelona Restaurant, Bayou Café,  
Brown's Brewing Company, Cascade Mountain Winery and Restaurant, Dakota  Steakhouse, 
Debbie's Kitchen, DeJohn's Restaurant & Pub, DiviniTea, El Loco,  Mexican 
Café, El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant, Finger Lakes Premium Wine Co.,  Grandma's 
Pies, Holmes and Watson, Jack's Oyster House, Justins, Magnolias on  the Park, 
McCadam Cheese, Millstone Lodge, Miss Albany Diner, My Linh, Olde  Saratoga 
Brewing Co., Rock Hill Bakehouse, The Ginger Man Wine Bar &  Restaurant, The 
Olive Garden,  and The Palmer House.

The event is co-sponsored by CSEA, PEF, Albany Public School Teachers  Assoc, 
McCadam Cheese, NYS Nurses Association, Times Union and  Metroland.

The suggested tax-deductible donation is $40 per person. For more
