September is Hunger Action Month, and in St. Lawrence County hunger action is still needed. Get your sneakers ready for our annual 𝙁𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 5𝙆 𝙖𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣’𝙨 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 17𝙩𝙝, 2023 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 12:30-3:30𝙥𝙢!
This fantastic family-fun event focuses on raising awareness for Hunger Action Month. Experience a day filled with a variety of food-centered activities, community partnerships, and the option to participate in a 5K race or a 1-mile Veggie Adventure Run.
Registration for the 5K is now open! The race will begin at Canton’s Village Park around 1:00pm; runners and walkers of all ages and levels are encouraged to participate. You may sign up as an individual or create a team with your family, friends, coworkers, or teammates. Donations can also be made through RunSignUp to individuals and teams. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraising solo runner and team!
𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙪𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣? You can still participate! Sign up online and complete the race wherever and whenever you’d like. If you’re not able to run but would still like to support the 5K, consider donating to an individual or team!
