To All of Our Supporters and Friends,
ACAP would like to wish you the happiest of holidays to you and your families and want to thank everyone who has made our work possible. Though this time of year encourages reflection and expressions of gratitude, we experience the positive impact of our work on practically a daily basis. A smile on a child’s face, an expression of relief from a customer visiting our food pantry, celebrating when someone receives a job offer after completing our certification program – these are things we get to see every day. This season does not override the accomplishments for the whole year; they invite us to share them with you all.
Thank you for your support!
Happy Holidays!
ACAP partners with families and communities to expand opportunities and build stronger networks to foster upward economic mobility.

In a never-done-before initiative, ACAP partnered with two other Community Action Agencies in the Capital District – Schenectady Community Action Program (SCAP) and Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO) to create a commercial, which was shown on WTEN10, Fox23, and WNYT during the month of November. You might still see us on WNYT, but in case you missed it, you can see the commercial below!
If there is someone who is passionate about Early Childhood Education and being an educator, show them the video! You can also send them to www.capteachingcareers.org see all the great benefits of teaching at a Community Action Agency!

It may have started with a โsuitโ in December of 2007 when we served our first customer, but over the past 15 years, and more than 2,500 suiting appointments, our Dress for Success Albany programming has evolved.
In honor and celebration of the 15 awe-inspiring years we have had as a Dress for Success affiliate, we invite you to help support us through a charitable monetary contribution during the month of December.
Thank you to Eric and Lyoubov from M&T Charitable Foundation and M&T Bank for visiting the Dress for Success Albany Boutique and supporting our unique upcoming projects!
Thank you to Albany County Legislature, especially Lynne Lekakis, District 8 Albany County Legislator, for supporting Dress for Success Albany and our many projects!
