Fires, floods, drought, intense heat: the condition of our climate is
dire. This November, New Yorkers will have the chance to vote for a bond act to fund solutions. We hope that your organization will join
350 Brooklyn and the many groups across the state that are supporting the passage of the Clean Water, Clean Air, Clean Jobs Environmental Bond Act.

The act would provide funds to expand renewable energy, protect people from deadly heat and flooding, improve water quality, restore wildlife habitat, protect family farms, and create and improve access to parks.

It would support nearly 100,000 jobs and direct at least $1.4 billion to disadvantaged communities that suffer the greatest harm from pollution and extreme weather. Passing the act would send a clear signal that New Yorkers support robust policies to counter the climate crisis and protect our environment.
