High intake of added sugar is linked to weight gain and cardiometabolic risk. In 2018, the US National Salt and Sugar Reduction Initiative (NSSRI) proposed government supported voluntary national sugar reduction targets.

Each September, we come together during Hunger Action Month for GardenShare’s annual 5k walk/run event. Last year, we were grateful to all who joined our virtual Fight Hunger Your Way version – and we are delighted to announce we will once again be holding an in-person 5K event!*
