“Governor Cuomo showers New Yorks record breaking number of billionaires with tax breaks for their yachts and condos, while the rest of NY endures never ending excuses and stingy funding for our communities. It’s led to record numbers of homeless, rising levels of inequality, crumbling infrastructure, and an exodus of middle and low income families from New York. The crisis we see didn’t happen by chance. It happened by design. We need to dramatically change course by raising taxes on Wall St. banks, billionaires, and ultra-millionaires and invest new resources in our communities to ensure that all families have what they need to lead healthy, happy and meaningful lives,” said Charles Khan of the Strong Economy for All Coalition.
