Take the challenge !
As the Jefferson Avenue community continues to rebuild in the wake of the tragic, racially-motivated violence of May 14th, many people and organizations have approached United Way to ask what they can do to help our community recover and heal. For this reason, United Way of Buffalo & Erie County reinvites the community to join our virtual 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge.
Learning, understanding the history of systems that created inequity, and addressing our individual biases and relationship with racial identity is a crucial first step to addressing the systemic inequity that has been woven into the fabric of Western New York for generations.
