We are pleased to invite you and those in your networks to the very first session of the 2023 Farm Bill Listening Tour. Hosted by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, the tour will kick off in Riverhead on Long Island on Monday, July 18 at 12:30 p.m. The session will take place in the Shinnecock Building at Suffolk County Community College, 121 Speonk-Riverhead Road, Riverhead New York, 11901. Parking will be available in lot #5. View a map of the campus and directions here.

The Farm Bill Listening Tour provides an opportunity to engage with and hear from constituents about the importance of the 2023 Farm Bill to New York State. What we learn during the tour will be provided to Governor Hochul to help develop the State’s Farm Bill priorities for critical funding and policy changes in the areas of agriculture, nutrition, and the environment.

We will be joined by representatives from the New York State Department of Health, New York Farm Bureau, and other State and local officials for this first session.

Please RSVP for the Long Island listening session here. For more information on this session or any upcoming stops, please contact the Department at (518) 457-2771.
