Join the first in a new series of 30 minute talks organized by friends of Labor Religion Coalition of New York State and Kairos Center at the Kairos Center this coming Tuesday, August 23 at 7 pm.
This first event – “Rejecting the Religion of Empire: Building a Movement for Liberation” will feature LRC board member Rev. Andrew Wilkes and Rev. Gabby Cudjoe-Wilkes, who have just published a powerful new devotional, Psalms for Black Lives. They’ll be joined by the Kairos Center’s Rev. Liz Theoharis, editor of We Cry Justice: Reading the Bible with the Poor People’s Campaign, and LRC director, Rev. West McNeill.
