Please visit the Stakeholder Commitments page on the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health website. The Biden-Harris Administration has set the goal of ending hunger and increasing healthy eating and physical activity by 2030 so fewer Americans experience diet-related diseases. We want you to join us! Achieving this goal will require everyone working together. As part of the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, the Administration is encouraging stakeholders to make their own commitments that will allow us to collectively achieve this goal.

Stakeholders are encouraged to think about commitments that:

β€’ Are big and bold (e.g., result in systemic, long-term change and meaningfully move the dial to end hunger and reducing diet-related diseases);
β€’ Help eliminate disparities and support individuals and communities that are most impacted by hunger and diet-related diseases;
β€’ Are innovative and test new models;
β€’ Scale up evidence-based strategies to a national level; and
β€’ Go beyond what the federal government can do.

Everyone can make a commitment, including individuals and large and small organizations such as, but not limited to:
β€’ Food industry (including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, grocers, restaurants, and food delivery companies, and others)
β€’ Health care industry (including insurance companies and providers, and others)
β€’ Fitness companies (including outdoor recreational companies, athletic equipment and apparel companies, and others)
β€’ Advertising and marketing companies
β€’ Technology companies
β€’ Transportation (including car and mobility service providers, bus and charter companies, and others)
β€’ Non-profit organizations (including advocacy, consumer, and public health groups, and others)
β€’ Philanthropic organizations
β€’ Trade associations
β€’ State/local/territory/Tribal governments
β€’ Schools and universities
β€’ Community-based and neighborhood organizations
