Join us for our second virtual cook-along series focused on Global Cuisine! This unique series is much needed in the nutrition & dietetics field for active practitioners as well as RDNs-to-be in order to fill the gap in our formal training around cultural sensitivity as it relates to nutrition counseling and food education.
6 culinary workshops will be held weekly in February and March 2022 and is approved for 12 CEUs for RDNs.
All sessions will be held LIVE on Zoom and will be recorded for those that are not able to join for the actual event.
(FULL AGENDA BELOW).
Each weekly session will be led by a different chef/RDN who will present key ingredients, traditional dishes and important aspects of their food heritage and then demonstrate several recipes in a cook-along style for participants. By the end of this series, attendees will gain new knowledge around a selection of global cuisines and feel more confident about counseling patients from diverse backgrounds.
All recipes will be shared in advance so that those who want to cook-along live have time to gather all of the necessary ingredients.
