During the next meeting, we will be hearing from Amelia Gelnett from the NYS Food as Medicine Coalition. Amelia will be sharing out about the recommendations that the group drafted for the Medicaid 1115 waiver and what is next for the NYS Food as Medicine Coalition.
Then we will open the floor to hear more from everyone about events, updates on policy, and how to get involved. Some upcoming events that we know of now are:

• Double Up Food Bucks NY Day of Action – Tuesday, February 13th, 2024
In addition to Amelia’s work with the NYS Food as Medicine Coalition, she also is working with The Alliance for a Hunger Free New York and The Food Pantries of the Capital District. Please know that she will be helping to coordinate this next meeting.
