On Saturday, March 2nd, members of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival will march and rally in state capitals across the country, bringing the demands of poor and low-wealth people directly to our lawmakers.

In Albany, we’ll be rallying in the midst of a critical New York State budget fight. For months the Hochul Administration has been signalling the need for an austerity budget, and just last month her proposed budget reflected that, including cuts to public services and an overall failure to address ongoing crises around healthcare, housing, and education in New York State.

Join us in Albany in order to push back on Governor Hochul’s proposed budget and to demand funding for critical resources that many in our communities rely on to make ends meet.
