Recognizing outstanding members of the community at our Annual Fall Dinner and Awards Celebration is a highlight each year for the Capital Area Council of Churches. The recipients listed below are outstanding people and CACC is proud to honor them on October 11, at the Italian American Community Center.

Join us for a music-heavy worship featuring old-time hymns. The shortened service will last approximately 30 minutes and feature uplifting and brief messages for those with dementia, as well as their care partners. A reception with light refreshments will be held following the service.

Ecumenical Witness of Baptism is an important program of the Capital Area Council of Churches. CACC is pleased to introduce a small committee that will be nurturing the program. The activities include scheduling witnesses, and recruiting churches and witnesses to the program. Members of the committee are listed below.
โข Christine Baxter – Christ United Methodist Church in Troy, will communicate and schedule witnesses opportunities.
โข Pastor Denise Gisotti – First United Methodist Church of Delmar, will be responsible for the EWB renewal service which occurs on the second Sunday of January.
โข Peggy McQuade – St. Matthew’s Church in Voorheesville, will send out cards and crosses to either the church or the witnesses.
โข The Rev. William Hinrichs – St. John’s Episcopal Church of Cohoes, is CACC’s Ignatian Volunteer and will be recruiting churches to the EWB program.
