Finishing up a busy and rewarding week of advocacy and collaboration with our friends and partners in the Capital District and beyond!!!
Photo 1 – With Dutchess Outreach and The Alliance for a Hunger Free New York at the beautiful Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies for a meeting of Dutchess County food pantries. Great to participate in this important coalition building work!
Photo 2 – Our Executive Director, Natasha Pernicka, and Associate Executive Director, Angie Pender-Fox, along with Ryan Healy of Feeding New York State testifying at the Joint Legislative Hearing on the Executive Budget Proposal and emphasizing the need for stronger State funding of HPNAP and Nourish NY.

Photo 4 – Picking up home deliveries at FOCUS Churches of Albany. Our drivers are on the road M-F to keep food pantry shelves stocked and to get home deliveries out to those who are in need and can’t reach their local pantry. Pantries in our coalition distributed over 4 million meals in 2023, over 30% more than 2022.
