In the Capital Region of New York State, food pantries are seeing more new faces, and people attending pantries more often.
We are calling on NYS to fund:
– Hunger Prevention Nutrition Assistance Program at $75 Million,
– Nourish New York at $75 Million,
– For each of these programs to have and maintain direct contracts with direct service providers
